PRESS RELEASE: THE MX SA
JUNIOR MOTOCROSS ACADEMY
22 July 2013
by MX SA
MX SA is proud to announce the launch of our Junior Motocross
Academy. The idea for this academy originated almost two years ago
but with MX SA itself still being in its infancy stage we were not
ready to launch a long term project of this scale until now.
We have now partnered with Yamaha, Racestar Graffix, Monster Energy,
Leatt, Fox, Oset and X-Stream Balance to launch the academy with
a long term plan in place to help grow off-road biking from the
ground up. Our plan starts with juniors and the goal to re-introduce
peewee racing on an amateur level. We will be targeting the non-rider
at a Primary School level.
Our concept further doubles as a marketing tool to raise awareness
with youngsters as well as their parents about these sports and
to raise the profiles of the sport and the professional athletes
that dominate them. To do this we plan to target schools directly
on a regular basis.
MX SA is very passionate about this project. We know that the results
of our efforts with the academy may not be immediate but over the
course of the next few years there will be no denying those results.
MX SA will be at the Amid Motorcycle Lifestyle Show for our official
launch between 8 11 August and we invite you to come through
and see us there. We will have some demos over the course
of the weekend and will be available to answer any questions.
Join us on Sunday 18 August for a massive MX SA Junior Motocross
Open Day in conjunction with all of our partners at Smoking Pistons
between 10am and 2pm.
