Team Review
A unique day for the team with two double wins and young Cameron Kruger makes a return to motocross racing after 8 months due to injury. Cameron makes his debut in the 85cc class! James Thompson wins both heats in the 50cc Junior class and Matthew Kruger wins both heats in the 85cc class. Well done boys!

The 85cc Junior Class
Matthew skipped 85cc practice as the bike was caked in mud from the Pro mini class practice and 10 Kg’s of mud on the bike makes for ill handling. Cameron went well and lapped 7th fastest in practice.

Concentration is the key to good starts as Matthew Kruger focuses on the line

Heat 1: Feeling confident after his win at the last round held at Syringa, Matthew came into round 6 with quite confidence and hoping to continue with his good starts. Matthew was out of the gate in heat one like a rocket and round the 1st corner with the holeshot. Ever improving young Dalton Venter stayed within striking distance the whole race but Matthew rode with good consistent pace to edge further into the lead and win fairly comfortably.

Cameron has a solid ride out in his first race on the 85cc and other than a small slip up in corner 2, which probably would have given him 7 or 8th, Cameron comes in at 10th.

Heat 2: Matthew is making a habit of getting good starts and in the 2nd heat Matt was out front again. A determined start by Dalton Venter got him in front of Matt by the ski jump and Dalton took the lead. A quarter of the way into lap 1, Matt made the pass as Dalton took a slick inside line and Matt sling shot through on the dry outside line. Dalton then dropped the bike and a few positions. Matthew again rode consistently fast with very few mistakes to take the win fairly comfortably. Ruben Aucamp had a good 2nd heat to chase Matt close to the flag by the end of heat 2. Cameron rode well and above all else had fun to finish 10th overall for the day. Good solid comeback Cameron!
