Gearing up for the 2016 Northern Regions MX Championship!

JOHANNESBURG, GAUTENG, 2015 – It gives us great pleasure to officially announce the 2016 Northern Regions Motocross Championship, brought to you by Motocross South Africa (MX SA) and sanctioned by Motorsport South Africa (MSA). The championship is extremely excited to welcome back 4PL Group as a series sponsor as well as new sponsors Tele-Radio Remote Control and MiCan Industrial Supplies.

The 2016 NRMX Championship will consist of 6 rounds and once again races will vary between 2 heat ‘moto’ races and 3 heat ‘sprint lap’ races to offer the competitors some variety and different challenges during the season. In addition to this, Gauteng will host two rounds of the Monster Energy TRP Distributors SA MX Nationals and these will be combined with regional’s offering the Northern Regions competitors an opportunity to score both in the National and the NRMX Championship on the same day. The host venues will run club races leading up to the Nationals for pre national practice.

Round 1: 6 February – Dirt Bronco
Round 2: 16 April – Syringa Park
Round 3: 4 June – Aloe Rock (Louis Trichardt)
Round 4: 2 July – Dirt Bronco (combined with the SA MX National)
Round 5: 10 September – Harrismith
Round 6: 8 October – Syringa Park (combined with the SA MX National)
